Flexible study options

Make study work for you. Choose to study part-time or full-time at either JCU Townsville or JCU Brisbane, with course commencement dates in February, May and September.

No degree, no problem

If you have a minimum of four years business experience in a management, leadership or supervisory level in a business environment you may be eligible to apply for entry into the MBA program.

The flexible nature of JCU’s MBA means that you can study full-time or part-time around your prior commitments. You can also tailor the course around your interests through your choice of major.

As the only classroom-based MBA in Townsville, the programme attracts business professionals from a variety of local industries, giving you the opportunity to develop long-lasting business and social networks as you study.

As an MBA student you will study six core subjects covering a broad range of topics that will equip you to work effectively in any field of business. You then have the option to undertake an individual research project, complete a domestic or international internship with one of JCU’s leading industry partners, or to focus on a program major. The course majors include:

An AQF level 7 Bachelor Degree in a cognate discipline; or an AQF level 8 degree; or 4 years managerial experience that satisfies the course co-ordinator's requirements.
