Course information
Bachelor of Laws
Examine principles of justice and ethical legal practice. Become skilled at reviewing contracts, arguing a criminal case, negotiating litigation settlements and interpreting matters of constitutional law. Generate hands-on skills in legal research, writing and analysis before mastering the principles of specialist laws. Graduate with eligibility to be admitted as a practising lawyer in Queensland.

What career possibilities are there?

You could work in law firms, government departments, legal aid, business or community organisations. Career paths include solicitor, barrister, in-house counsel, public prosecutor, community lawyer, legal researcher or corporate legal advisor. This course is accredited by the Legal Practitioners Admissions Board and approved for admission to legal practice in Queensland.
